CEO & FOUNDER

Dr Mark Igiehon

Dr. Mark Igiehon is the CEO and Founder of SONG Africa. He is a Lawyer, entrepreneur, author, innovator, speaker, international business & and corporate leader, an advisor to corporations and governments, an international oil & and gas lawyer, commercial expert, negotiator, a university fellow and a minister and life coach.

His areas of research, teaching, training and consultancy include: energy and natural resources law and governance; policy, development and good use of mineral resources; acquisitions and divestments; international investments protection and arbitration; capital projects contracting procurement and construction; decommissioning; upstream contracts; compliance and assurance.

He is the CEO of Aberdeen Commercial, a service delivery firm and the President, Oil & Minerals for Good Global Forum. He is also the Chairperson Summer Bible Institute of Scotland (SBIS).

He has a passion for Africa’s development and has brought a team of influential leaders together to drive and implement SONG Africa’s vision of transforming Africa.

Executive Director

Chinonso Clark

Chinonso Clark is the Executive Director of SONG Africa. With several years of experience working in the development sector, she continues to lead community projects geared towards transforming the lives of women, men and children in Africa. She has led she led initiatives that have impacted several women, men and children in Nigeria to live improved lives, void of social and economic challenges.


Her academic and business leadership background includes credentials in International Commercial Law at Master’s Degree Level from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, various Leadership courses from The Lagos Business School and Philanthropy University, and Partnership at a corporate and commercial law firm. She is a creative and experienced professional entrepreneur, skilled in Leadership, Administration, Branding, Strategic Marketing, Communications, Complex stakeholder’s negotiation, Management of Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Stakeholder Management.

With an innate ability to provide solutions to complex problems, She consults for SME’s and Nonprofit Organizations on issues of branding, leadership, mentoring, corporate social responsibility

Program Advisory

Uche Iloka

Dr Uche Iloka is the Director of Programs at SONG AFRICA. He is a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Courts of Nigeria as well as a Solicitor of England & Wales. He is a Lecturer in Law at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, where he heads the LLM Law programmes at the Law School. He teaches Charity Law, Corporate and. Business Law, International Business Law, Global Governance & and International Relations. He is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He is also a partner at Greydern Associates.

He holds a doctorate from The Robert Gordon University, in the fields of International law, Global Governance and NGOs. He furthered his Public International Law training at The Hague Academy of International Law, The Netherlands and also holds a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government with a specialisation in Public Policy Design and Leadership and Ethics.
